Cape “D” Cafe sits right on the edge of scenic Ilwaco, serving as a convenient pit stop for locals and travelers alike, especially those venturing to nearby parks and lighthouses. It functions as both a cozy cafe and a practical local store, blending the casual vibe of a neighborhood coffee spot with the utility of a well-stocked supply point for campers and day-trippers.

Visitors often come here for a quick coffee break paired with simple, satisfying food—grilled cheeses and hearty sandwiches seem to be popular picks, especially with families. The portions lean toward generous without feeling overwhelming, and the presence of an ice cream selection hints at a nice treat for kids and anyone looking to cool off after outdoor outings.

The atmosphere inside feels homely and unpretentious, with decor that reflects the laid-back coastal community. The staff's friendliness is a defining feature, making it easy to feel at home whether you’re grabbing a morning coffee or stocking up on forgotten camping essentials. It’s the kind of place where regulars probably drop in for their caffeine fix but also appreciate the convenience of being able to pick up gear or last-minute snacks.

This cafe is well-suited for families on the go, outdoor enthusiasts finishing a local hike, and anyone who values a relaxed stop that combines food, coffee, and practical needs under one roof. Mid-mornings through the early afternoon seem like ideal times to swing by—when the light spills in and park visitors are winding down or gearing up for their day outdoors.

Best grilled cheese and pesto turkey sandwich! My super picky kid absolutely loved both! We picked up some supplies that we had forgotten at home. I felt the prices weren't bad. It was nice that it was close by!

I haven't had the food yet. The service is friendly and they've got what you need when you're camping.

Convenient store at the edge of the park. It has pretty much anything you might have forgotten to bring or want/need to aid your stay at the park.

Stopped at this cafe for a quick snack and coffee after hiking with the kids to the lighthouses. The lady working the store was extremely friendly and and the coffee was excellent. They had a really good selection of trinkets for campers and kids and they had a nice ice cream selection. Love this place.

Real nice owners my family does miss the pizza though. Has a lot of things that you may have forgotten when you go camping so that was nice. The ice cream is really delicious but pretty overpriced.

Super friendly people. All the essential item, one tends to forget, when packing. The coffee is very hot. Perfect for warming up after a day in the surf.

Amazing Campground store, figured the prices would be high, but needed body wash and the 24 oz Silkience CRĒMAY was only $3.51. so I looked at other prices, way cheaper than I can get them back home. AMAZING!! Thanks
